Terms and condition of sale

1. Purpose
These terms govern the sale of products on www.madeleinejoly.com by Madeleine Joly, sole proprietor.

2. Products
All products are described with the utmost care. Minor differences in color or finish may occur due to artisanal production.

3. Prices
Prices are listed in euros. VAT is not applicable (article 293B of the CGI).
Shipping costs are displayed before order confirmation.

4. Payment
Payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal.
We do not store any bank card data.

5. Shipping
Orders are shipped from Paris within 2 to 5 business days (excluding pre-orders).
For pre-orders, estimated shipping times are provided on the product page.

6. Returns & Withdrawal Rights
In accordance with EU law, you have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Items must be returned in their original condition.

7. Pre-orders
For pre-orders, shipping will take place at a later date—clearly stated on the product page.
The 14-day withdrawal period begins upon delivery.

9. Environmental Compliance – Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

In accordance with French regulations, JOLY is registered with the eco-organization Refashion under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework for textiles.
A Unique Identification Number (IDU) has been issued by ADEME, certifying our compliance with product end-of-life management obligations.

JOLY implements a progressive eco-design plan to reduce its environmental footprint, including:

  • limited production volumes and a strict no-destruction policy for unsold stock,

  • upcycling of fabric scraps,

  • careful selection of low-impact materials,

  • efforts to favor alternatives to air freight for logistics.
